Crossroads School is an innovative school that educates students between the ages of 3-14 and is committed to helping students reach their fullest potential through rigorous instruction, community-based field experience, and a collaborative approach. Crossroads focuses on fostering individual student learning, communication, and functional independence by using a collaborative approach across the student’s day. These services include Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Behavior Analytic Services, Special Educators, and Social-Emotional Learning coaches.

Welcome to the Crossroads School. My name is Matthew Fernandez, and I am very excited to be joining the Union County Educational Services Commission in the role of principal.
Crossroads School is an innovative public school for children between the ages of 3-14 with Autism Spectrum Disorder focused on the development of sensory integration, communication, socialization, and problem solving skills. Crossroads School prioritizes communication, socialization, and independence across all disciplines. The integration of the principles of applied behavior analysis is integral to the success of our students, and helps guide our staff to make best practice decisions.
